Meet Erin, One of Our Artists

A Talented Tattoo Artist

One of the artists you can work with at The Darkside Tattoo is Erin. Erin has been kind enough to introduce herself in her own words.

My name is Erin Nicole Walsh. I have been working in the tattoo industry since 2013. I got my start at Darkside Tattoo and have been with the company ever since.

Beyond tattooing, my favorite mediums to work with are acrylic and watercolor. I also take a liking to color pencil from time to time.

As far as tattooing style, I don't like to stick to one genre. I enjoy both color and black and gray pieces. I've fallen in love with dot work and sacred geometry. I have a sweet nostalgia for traditional and Japanese styles. I thoroughly enjoy organic color pieces, like flowers and foliage. Anything that I can put my artistic spin on I am more than happy to work on.

I came here for my first tattoo and was recommended Erin Nicole Walsh by a friend of mine. I was able to email her before my appointment roughly what I wanted, and when I arrived she had created a sketch of the image. We were able to decide on the size and font while I was there. Once we started, she talked me through every step of what she was doing and the time seemed to fly by. She created an amazing tattoo and at the same time produced a welcoming environment for a first-timer like myself. I would recommend anyone to her and also Darkside Tattoos as a whole. The entire experience was 10/10.
